All Things Beautiful
A collection of photojournalism

Meet the Photographer.
Rae first discovered her passion for taking photos at the age of ten. The art form was a talent and a gift passed down from her Nana that she cherishes to this day. Her grandmother’s last gift to Rae, was leaving her professional-grade camera in her name.
Upon entering high school [C. Leon King], she enrolled in journalism as an elective and joined the yearbook staff, acting as head photographer her senior year. She won Second Place for on the spot photography and an All-Florida rating for photos submitted to the Florida Scholastic Press Association. In college [University of Central Florida], Rae pursued a journalism degree and provided news articles, feature photos, and was an active member on staff for the university’s student-run magazine, Centric. Rae also has a passion for and degree in Sociology, which lends to the street and lifestyle photography that is featured strongly in her portfolio.
Over the years, she has developed a collection of people, places and events that have captured her eye and encouraged her to pause and take a photo. Her desire to share people’s stories and moments combined with her compassion for others illuminates her photography.
